Andrew Houser, DVM

Dr. Andrew Houser grew up in Pilot Point, Texas where his passion for serving people by helping their pets began.  Dr. Houser earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas in 2007.  He then received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.  After practicing for 4 years in Lockhart, Texas, Dr. Houser purchased Frontier Veterinary Clinic in April of 2015.  He is passionate about maintaining and improving the wellness of pets and seeing the joy that brings to the animals and their families.  Dr. Houser enjoys spending time with his wife, Randalyn, and three young boys, Henry, Hudson, and Huck.  He and his family are active in this wonderful community that they call home.

Dr. Howk is a native to the Big Country, born and raised in Lawn, Texas.  Growing up on her family farm initiated her love for animals at an early age.  Dr. Howk earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2007.  Dr. Howk continued her education and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.  Dr. Howk is now embarking on her new journey with Frontier Veterinary Clinic.   Dr. Howk enjoys the challenge of veterinary medicine as every day presents a new problem.  She is passionate about preventative care and health for your pets.  Dr. Howk adores spending time with her husband, Tim, their two young children, Reed and Reagan, and their two dogs.

Dr. Cassidy Hand Goupille

Dr. (Hand) Goupille grew up in rural Montana. She has wanted to be a veterinarian as far back as she can remember. Dr. Goupille earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from Montana State University in 2015 and continued her education at Washington State University, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Dr. Goupille was excited to join the Frontier Veterinary Team in 2021 and has a special interest in small animal surgery, dental care and prevention/wellness. Outside of work Dr. Goupille enjoys spending time with her husband, three dogs and cat. As well as, hunting, fishing, traveling and pretty much anything that has to do with the great outdoors.

Dr. Shelby Tanzi

Dr. Tanzi traveled a lot growing up and lived in several states from coast to coast, but she claims Texas as home. She has been working in the veterinary industry since 2011 and had many roles such as kennel tech, receptionist, and vet tech. Before pursuing her degree she worked as a vet tech here at Frontier Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Tanzi then went on to study at Angelo State University in 2018 and graduated from Ross University in the country of St. Kitts and Nevis with clinical training completed at Texas A&M University in 2023. Professional interests include dentistry, sonography, and providing fear-free visits to minimize stress during your pet’s exam. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Tanzi likes to spend time with her husband and their 3 dogs. They are outdoor enthusiast and spend their time hiking, hunting, and fishing.
