Our Doctors

Dr. Andrew Houser

DVM

Dr. Andrew Houser, from Pilot Point, Texas, developed his passion for helping pets early on. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas in 2007 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2011.

After four years in Lockhart, he purchased Frontier Veterinary Clinic in 2015. Dr. Houser is dedicated to improving pet wellness and loves spending time with his wife, Randalyn, and their three boys while being active in the community.

Dr. Shelby Tanzi

DVM

Dr. Shelby Tanzi, who considers Texas home, has worked in the veterinary industry since 2011. After serving as a vet tech at Frontier, she graduated from Angelo State University in 2018 and Ross University in 2023, completing her training at Texas A&M.

She focuses on dentistry, sonography, and providing fear-free visits. In her free time, Dr. Tanzi enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband and their three dogs.

Dr. Storey Moore

DVM

Dr. Storey Moore, previously Dr. Deshazo, is originally from Abilene, Texas. After a few years working in Oklahoma, she is excited to be back with the Frontier Veterinary team. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University in 2015. She continued her education and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020.
 When not at the clinic, she spends her free time with her husband and son, her three dogs and cat, doing outdoor activities, and traveling.

Dr. Amber Grant

DVM

Dr. Amber Grant is from Texarkana, AR. She attended Oklahoma State University, where she earned both her bachelor’s degree in animal science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Grant enjoys hiking, running, fossil hunting and spending time outdoors. She also loves spending time with her three dogs and two cats.
